Zinc dust has a number of applications in the chemical industry, mainly as a reducing agent, and in the metallurgical industry as a cementation agent. It is also used in paints. A growing use is in alkaline zinc–manganese dioxide primary batteries. The energy capacity of these cells is about double that of the traditional Leclanché cell.
Zinc dust is a kind metal dust, and can react with acid and many alkali, it is wide used in many areas, such as rubber, activation, acceleration, Biochemical Activity, Dielectric Strength, Heat Stabilization, Latex Gelation, Light Stabilization, Pigmentation, Reinforcement, Rubber - Metal Bonding and so on.
